NASTH primarily collects and uses personal information of our users in order to operate our website and to provide our Online and other Services. For example, we collect a user’s email address, name and address during membership registration to enable us to contact members about upcoming events or provide other member benefits.

We also may use personal information to:

  • Send correspondence, including welcome letters, order confirmations or receipts, or other notices;
  • Send communications of interest, including newsletters and articles;
  • Send copies of publications, special offers, promotions or other mailings of potential interest, upon request;
  • Verify a user's identity when placing an order, log into an account, or to prevent unauthorized access to or use of a user's account information;
  • Identify ways that we can improve products and services to meet the needs of our users.

NASTH is committed to protecting the privacy of its users and to utilizing data collected by NASTH only for purposes that further the interests of the NASTH, its members and its users. NASTH does not allow the general public to access the data it has collected.

Except as otherwise stated below, we also do not share any information that would individually identify our users or individual customers to third-parties.

We may sometimes hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, such as publishing and/or sending newsletters, operating our meetings, fulfilling and shipping orders that users have placed and completing transactions requested by users. We provide those companies with the information that they need to provide us with the specific task they have been hired to do, and we prohibit them from using that information for any other purpose, and we require them to abide by strict information privacy standards.

Additionally, we reserve the right to disclose the personal information of our users, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with the law; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of NASTH and, (c) protect the personal safety of users of our websites and Online Services, or the public.
